Hi there,

call me picky, but the german version of your web is ... hm ... a little old? "New Release: 7.8"?

I know from own experience that maintaining several languages can be a total mess.

And just for being "clean"...why not remove the german part at all?

Only my 5 Cent....

Da es um die Deutsche Seite geht.... Reden wir einfach Deutsch :-)

Bin da 100% bei dir.
Offiziell gibt es die Deutsche Seite gar nicht mehr. Sieht eigentlich nur noch jemand der unten den Link an klickt bzw von früher noch die alte "Mobiflight.de" Domain verwendet hat.

JA. Wir haben noch ne kleine Gruppe an Usern die kein English spricht. Aber Hand aufs Herz. Wer fliegt und mit Computern und Software arbeitet "muss" English können.

Gegenargument.... Wir im Team sprechen alle Deutsch. Wir müssten also nicht aufwendig übersetzen ( wie bei Spanisch, Chinesisch etc) sondern könnten es ganz easy in unserer Muttersprache machen. Die Frage: Ist es der Aufwand wert, wenn eh 98% der User English benutzen ??

Mein Fazit: Entweder Pflegen oder entfernen. Aber du hast recht.... Veraltete Versionen mitschleppen bringt keinen weiter !

Einverstanden....dann eben in der schwierigeren Sprache

Solltet Ihr mal überlegen auf ein anderes System umzusteigen, meldet Euch gerne.

Ich habe viel Erfahrung mit WordPress. Ich habe das von einem Blogsystem zu einem astreinen CMS inklusive Benutzerbasis (mit PM etc.) umgebogen und sogar einige Erweiterungen in PHP selber programmiert.
Daneben gibt es ein sehr gutes Forum-Plugin und auch ein Shop-System.

Dann würde die Seite bei Pflegearbeiten wie heute Abend (neue Version von MF) auch nicht down erscheinen. Hatte ich fast 15 Minuten lang....ich hatte schon Panik....
