I'm trying to figure out how to connect a rotary encoder to the SimInnovations G5. I don't think there is an FSX offset for the G5, is there? If not, would the Mobiflight-variable work? SimInnovations has the following command, for example: si/g5/[device_id]/knob_cw. Would I be able to use that to connect the rotary through Mobiflight to the gauge?

For Older Sims ( FSX/P3D and Xplane) our options are limited.
MF only talk to the Sim via FSUIPC (XPUIPC in Xplane).

If it not have a Official EventID or a Offset in FSUIPC we can write, its difficult.

I think the best way would be to aks your request in the Support/Forum of this Sim Inovasions Company.
I expect the key is to write some kind of LUA Code within FSUIPC that read/write the needed informations.

A Alternate maybe is Key and Button.
Can you set this virtual Encoder to a KEY or a Joystick Button.... If yes we can simulate via MF this Keys . That would work directly !
