Hello,

I read the latest firmware upgrade provides increased number of I/O s. How does that work in specific. Can somebody give a short summary about hardware solutions to increase LEDs and buttons?

What do you mean ? Where do you read this information ? ( Link please)

We increase the Pins for Micro as i know ( some was missing).
We also implement Shifter to allow multiple LED by just a couple of Pins.

But i not know we "increase IO Pins" in the last release !

Under improvements it seemed to be that the amount of buttons can be increased.
This was the question how this can be done.

As i said.... Micro Related....

The ProMicro had some limitations that make no sense....


I not remember the "old" Limits.... But the new are the follow....

For example maybe the old limits was 10 for Buttons (what make no sense in case we have 18 Pins) .
So we simply increase this limits where it was possible.
