I'm stumped. I built a small control panel with some encoders and buttons on my laptop and it works perfectly. I use my laptop (with FS2020) to prototype in my shop and build before transferring it upstairs to my main sim cockpit. So, I backed up the .mcc and .mfmc files, emailed them to myself, connected the panel with the same arduino to my PC upstairs, reinstalled MF just to be sure, uploaded the .mcc and .mcfmc files and...nothing. It shows connected to the arduino and connected to the sim in MF. When pushing buttons or turning dials, the led lights up on the arduino board. And yes I've pushed "run" in MF. Everything appears OK, but the sim just isn't responding at all. I reconnected same panel to my laptop, and everything works--so I know it's not a board problem. I have to be missing something here. Please help! Thanks!

Yes on same version. As for the WASM module, I do have a folder called "mobiflight-event-module" in the community folder, which is the same as on my laptop.

I found the problem. There was a folder "fsuipc-lvar-module" also in the community folder. Once I removed that, it worked!

Also have FSUIPC module together with MF module in community folder . FSUIPC is latest version and MF seem to work OK . Not using FSUIPC though . Maybe your FSUIPC not up to dated .

How did you even think about removing this folder? I didn't even imagine that the problem can be in it. I had so much trouble because of this error. I had to reinstall my windows and try again, but the problem didn't disappear. I lost a folder which had some documents in it, they were very important because I didn't have any other copy. I had to search on the internet if it's possible to restore them, and found out about DATA RECOVERY SERVICES, I am very relieved and thankful to them, they saved me for real.

In the past MF talks to the older Sims only via FSUIPC (or XPUIPC in Xplane)
So MF itself not talk to the sim itself. It not care about if a Sim is loaded or not. It not have own tools or PlugIns in the Sim.

Means FSUIPC was "standaloane" and we not active involve it.

With FS2020 we create our own WASM Module that directly talk to the Sim (FS2020). And also FSUIPC did the same.... they change there DLL Logic into there own WASM Module.

And YES. In that case this two systems "can" in whorst case maybe get in conflict.
We not like this but the best idea ( in my personal point of view) is to not not use FSUIPC anymore in FS2020.
All FSUIPC Functions are available also in Mobiflight. So there is no need to use both systems parallel.
Whatever.... Its finally also our target to observe possible conflicts. We not want to avoid people from using both !

As i know currently is no known bug or problem with FSUIPC. So please report if there is a issue you can confirm in case of FSUIPC in the Community folder!
Good Luck !

Very new to this, looking for alternatives to programming my Arduino,

BUT

Are you suggesting to NOT use FSUIPC? I've used it for years and have a purchased license! Not likely I'll not use FSUIPC since I have multiple controllers / inputs and use it exclusively for that!

Perhaps MF is not what I'm looking for? I'm simply needing something to program the Arduino without me having to write code.
