What does the "Reverse Digits" check box on the setup page mean. I don't notice any change when I check it. I unfortunately -also- have the problem that my Altitude is displayed backwards, but all others are displayed correctly (via Mobiflight + Arcaze).

I think the order of displaying digits is reversed, i.e. 12345678 becomes 87654321 .

This tool was implement to simply reverse the order of Diggits. As "pat" say there was reports of users who build a expensive PCB for there Panels with included lines from Diggits to the MAX Ic´s..... But they designe the onboard lines "logical" from left to right..... But the Tubes work from Right to left .
To prevent these guys of creating and pay for a new PCB again we include this little tool.

Simple Technic.... If you use e.g. Digits 1-5 and you show a value of 12345 then with enabled Reverse function the Display will show 54321 now.

NOTE: I not know if these was also implement in the Arcaze Logics.... Maybe just a part of the MEGA Firmware !

About Problem itself.... As i said in the past.... the most easy way to solve a reversed system is pretty sure electirical. If we not talk about a PCB you could simply swap the wires (Cathodes of Diggits) in the reversed order.

Please report if this is not possible and if you can confirm this feature not work with a arcaze..... then Sebastian can check if this can be included also there !

Until the problem is fixed I have written a small VB program as a workaround, which mirrors the ALT value externally and writes it to a free FSUIPC offset. Then i read this offset normally with Mobiflight and my display is correct.

Problem should be fixed already.
I´m not sure "when" this Hotfix was included.... Maybe still in 8.0.2 live Version or within the BETA ( 8.0.2.x)

Beta 8.0.2.9. same problem. No reverse.

Version 9.2.0.3 Beta same problem. No reverse with Arcaze.
In this version, the V/S display is now also in the wrong order. Reverse box does not change anything.

I never think about that again....
In case arcaze is coming pretty rare meanwhile and nobeody else report this.... That problem become lost.

In Github the Issue is flagged as "Won´t Fix"
Sebastians first comment: "Arcaze Users not need this feature!"
We currently figgure it if there is a usecase also for arcaze.... Maybe we miss a fact! Or maybe there is a other issue in your system.

Thanks for the feedback. I have expanded my small program to invert the V/S value and can use my hardware again. Arcaze is really not used very often anymore I think. Maybe I'll upload my program to the server and link it here in case someone else has the problem.

Let me ask....
Is your Controller "deep" in the system ? E.g. do you integrate it onto a PCB ?
Reversed.... Are the Displays solder on a PCB so you can not reverse the System itself by simply swap Pin 0,1,2,3,4 to pin 4,3,2,1,0 e.g.

I know Sebastians first comment is not the one you like to hear.... But the "Diggit Swap" Feature is done in the firmware ( for Arduino) and he not plan to rework also the Arcaze specific parts.

So... Maybe also with a eye to the future.... When new features come to MF and we no longer put all this stuff compatible with Arcaze ( let it dying in easy words) ....
Would a swap to a MEGA instead not the better way ?

I talk to Sebastian and he said there is a wrong setting !
Arcaze have a strange system within the 7Seg Logic....
He said you should check the second setting .... In your screenshot i see " Connector : 2/2"
Change the second "2" into "1"

Sebastians thought: Arcaze use this feature to allow setting of 2 Displays via ONE Max7219.... ( e.g. a 3 and a 5)
To make this possible, Arcaze expect you set the 2nd Display "inverted" so it can count from Dig7 back to Dig 0 now from the right !

Please Play with this settings.... and report experience !

Thanks for the tip. I will test it and let you know. Arcaze is really a rather difficult system and support from the developer does not come either.
But I use it exclusively for the 7 segment of my MCP. Everything else I do with Arduino and small VB Net programs.
