Hi!

i installed mobiflight 9.2 after a few months break. After installing (its just extracting) mobiflight was opening, everything was allright.
Then i closed it, and started it again - nothing happens. no mobiflight, no error message. Just nothing...

Then i deleted the folder and installed it a second time, restart pc before. The installation worked fine, but it was not starting again.
Then i checked windows log and even in the installer i got an error (i think at the end when he wants to start mobiflight):

i started as admin, removed everything, removed wasm module from communtiy etc. i cannot install or start it. What can i do? Which file is the problem here?

Sounds like you Try to start the installer multiple Times....

Please Confirm....

1. When you try to start it.... MF not already Run in the backround!
If you minimize MF then it still run and is not on the task bar.... You see it by mousover the "Show Hidden icons" next to the clock!
Also after installation MF will start by itself the first time.... May you just miss this fact !

2. Confirm you not klick on "installer" again to Run MF....
After MF is installed you need to run the "MFConnector.exe" to start MF ..... The Installer.exe is no longer needed after the install was sucessfull!

I had the same Problem starting installiert after restart Computer. Also not in tray or task Manager.

It is the same starting mfconnector After restart.

Problem "temporary" solved....

Installer.exe occure in a Problem....

After send the user a ZIP File ( e.g. 9.2.0.) he unpack it and MF start correctly...
Also AutoUpdate (for testing to BEta 9.2.0.2) workes fine!

yes, i live same issue too.
The Problem is when you close the Mobiflight it seems to be closed and there is no an icon in hidden icons section on taskbar but if you open task menager you will see that it is still running on background . Close it in task manager try to start again and it will run as it must be .

I expect the same issue....
MF ( if minimized) is no longer shown in the main task of Windows ( just in the "hidden Icons" ) and it is also no longer listed in Task Manager (STRG ALT DEL) as "Active Process" its now in Backround there!
Thats normal.... And we build MF exactly that way to run it "hidden" for people who finished there project and use MF without like to add new configs !


BUT

The Problem above is different !
I confirm by shared screen MF was NOT running that time on his Computer.
There is a other issue.... But badly i can not rebuild it myself. Maybe a Firewall/AntiVir issue !

So we "close" this Issue for the moment. Problem is solved for him, by our little improvisional idea... And if no other user get the same problem.... I think we can simply ignore it !
