Hello there.
In my FBW A320 setup I have a rotary encoder that controls the vertical speed (VS), which is working just fine.
When activating the TRK FPA the rotary stops working. I belive I understand why :-) So now I am looking for the prober event for controling the FPA, but I cant find the damn event :-(

Is there an event for this job or what to do?

Hi

I not own the FWB.... So i´m just give basic Information....
After ask one of the Professional Guys...
They mean this should be 1:1 the same like for VS ...


Please Check/Confirm you correctly "toggle" the VS/FPA within the Sim.
Then the VS Encoder Inputs "should" write correctly the FPA !

Maybe you just toggle your "Display" within Mobiflight but still controll VS in the Sim !

I do not understand a word of the answer, not at all :-(

I do toggle between the TRK/FPA and HDG/VS by an input event and this is monitored and validated as an Output event.
But when toggled to TRK/FPA mode the input VS event stops working. That is why I believe there must corresponding event controlling the FPA function.

So the question remains; is there a specific event for controlling FPA? If yes, what is the name of that event? If not, what is the solution to that problem?

Is it better to discuss the matter on the discord and why is that?

Hi

I just ask the question to a user who build the FBW Stuff some time ago for a other user.... He "remember" that these was working.... But for sure we not test it "live".
So maybe FBW in one of it´s last updates change this. Also note that FBW have multiple Versions.
Maybe the Stable use a different Event as the Beta!

So YES...
Discord is much more better.
there we can share screen and directly test this. ( Or better YOU need to test, cause i not own it !)

Sorry about my first suggestion. When somebody say this "should" work ( cause he do it already in the past), then i "must" expect that you did a mistake yourself.

I´m Online at the evening on Discord....
Or you ask a other guy there.... Simply write in the FS2020 Sub Section. Maybe somebody will awnser .... If not call me tonight !
