Hi there,

I'm having a bit of a problem with my 7 segement displays. I have one runing vertical speed, works perfectly well but with a slight problem. So I have a 5 digit display runing the VS, when i'm over a 1000ft everything is fine the screen will show -1400 as an exemple but when i get under 1000 it will show -9000 instead of -900. Same thing happens with the heading, under 100 will show 400 instead of 040. Does anyone have a fixe for this problem?

Hi

You have a wrong Setting in the "Left Padding" Area. ( Located in the DISPLAY Tab of the Output Config you use for that function)

You have 4 Options: Lets say you show Value "123" on a Display with 4 Diggits selected! ( _ = Represent a Empty spaced Diggit)

Left Padding NOT Selected.... Typ ZERO
123 is showed as 1230 ( It fill up the non used Diggits with Zeros to the Right )

Left Padding NOT Selected .... Typ SPACE
123 is showed as 123_ ( It fill up the non used Diggits with Spaces to the Right )

Left Padding IS Selected.... Typ ZERO
123 is showed as 0123 ( It fill up the non used Diggits with Zeros to the LEFT )

Left Padding IS Selected .... Typ SPACE
123 is showed as _123 ( It fill up the non used Diggits with Spaces to the LEFT )

So pretty sure you got "Left Padding NO Typ Zero" so 900 is shown as 9000
HDG mostly use Left Padding YES Typ Zero to have something like 040 instead of just "40" ....
for VS the Space is more logical....: Cause you like _900 or 900_ instead of 0900
