Hi everyone.

So after recovering my Mega again I started adding again every device. First the three potis and then the 7-segment for NAV-freq display (using FSUIPC Offset 0x0350 and transform $+10000). When I run my configuration the 7segment displayed the freq as expected, but Mobiflight sw became irresponsive.

Any ideas?

This was already happening before I had my issues with the board firmware.

1. What Board do you use..... Mega ??

2. What exactly is InOp ?? The Potis ?
By the way.... Why a Poti for a Nav ? Here we work with Encoders!

Thank you for answering... I fear was too short in my explanations...

First of all, I used SW as an abbreviature for Software, I was referring to Mobiflight Connector program. As soon as I clicked on run, it became irresponsive (the windows "thinking" icon appeared as well as the legend "(not responding)" in the title.

Now, regarding my configuration... I'm using a Mega board (chinese clone, not genuine) and currently I have only 4 devices configured: 3 potis (for throttle) and 1 7segment for displaying NAV frequency. Actually some others are set as I'm using the mcc file I have for JU-52, but they are inactive as I'm trying to recover them one by one after my issue with the firmware.

So, with those two things configured, when I click on run Mobiflight Connector becomes irresponsive.

EDIT: just a quick check... although Mobiflight Connector is irresponsive, arduino is still able to read my devices (potis in this case and interact with simulator), although i'm not able to stop or change anything.

Looks i was Brain-AFK ... sw = software .... I could imagine this myself !

About Board.... all is fine. We not need Original Mega brands or genuino...... Chineese Clones are fine, too.


About Problem: Strange !!! MF is in "not respond" mode ( the "bussy ring pretty sure is shown) BUT it still work as you say and send inputs and receive Outputs, right ?

First Ideas:

1. What Version do you use.... BETA is not stable garanteed ..... Please tell us if you ar not on Live Version !

2. Logging Mode Blocking..... If you log Poti Axis and you have a bad Poti may this can overdrive the Programm..... Please Confirm Issue also happen if you DISABLE the Log Mode within the Settings Tab.

3. ADMIN Mode..... Should not be a factor official, but we have so many reports of strange Bugs in the past that was solved by using ADMIN Mode for Mobiflight AND Sim !
So please test this shortly and report !

4. Bad Config.
May there is a Issue that occure in a endless spammed issue by a fault in your configs.
Please Open for testing a new Config File and only create ONE single easy thing like the Parking Brake LED. You not need to combine a real LED to it....
Just a Config that we can run..... So we see if issue is global or related to your Config !

5. Board Issue.
Please Disconnect the Mega and try to RUN MF with a easy Config you create for testing.... E.g. with a Joystick Input Only !
So we know if Problem only happen if THIS specific Mega is connected !

Yep, that's correct. I cannot stop or change anything, but the sim still recognizes and reacts to my inputs. Not sure now if outputs are also being updated.

I'm using Mobiflght 9.1.0, the last available at the Download section
