I am finishing C172home cokpit with MSFS2020, without G1000 and radio panel, This work is the next step ,when I will find solution how you show the position of elevator trim on LCD display ( mas7219).
My configuration are : offset=sim connect "Elevator trim indicator" with A:"elevator trim indicator position"
the results are :
From - 14° to +12° the variation of flight Sim Value is lineat from -0,7211 to +0,6120 . the I apply transform as ( $*18) or around this value
Then the "out value in screen Mobiflight Mapping change only on integer value from -14 to +12. I think this point is normal.

But but ...I have problem with the value of display LCD
my configuration is : "use display" 1,2,3,4,5 and "set decimal point" in 2
so from -14° to -10° display LCD go to -1,4 to - 1.0
from -8° to 0° display LCD go to -8 to, 0
from 2° to 10° display LCD go to 10 to 100 with a lag every 20° (exemple 2,2° to obtain 20, or ',4,4° to obtain 40)
So my questions are: ]
first why the display don't show decimal show only or only one décimal in spécific position of elevator trim I think my configuration is correct. is there a problem with "transform" parameter. In this case what I have to write in "transform" (?)
then why the display LCD shows -&;4 for 14°and -1;2 for 12°? when I go below 10° the value of display is corect ( without the problem about lack of decimal)
last question: Why the lag in positif value of degree . How i can corect it

ich fliege den FBW A32NX und meine land gear leds funktionieren genauso wie in der virtuellen land gear Anzeige, genau so wie pizman es beschrieben hat. Mein einziges Problem ist, daß die roten LEDs ( gear retracded ) rot bleiben und nicht nach kurzer Zeit abschalten. Ich habe den ganzen Thread gelesen. Ich habe mit der Compare Funktion alles mögliche versucht, kein Erfolg. Habe ich es richtig verstanden, daß das auch nicht geht außer mit 2 Timern, 1 für links und rechts und einen für nose ?

Ich hab jetzt den ganzen Topic nicht nochmal gelesen.... Grundsätlich gibts es 2 Wege.

Bietet dein FBW einen eigenen Wert für die GEAR LED..... Dann ist diese mit ziemlicher sicherheit 1/0 je nachdem ob sie eben AN oder AUS sein soll.
In dem Fall braucht man keine zusätzlichen Formeln.

Gibt es das nicht und du nutzt den Wert für den GEAR Zustand..... Dann ist dieser vermutlich 0- 16383 .
Also 0 heist UP .... 1-1638x ist "Transit" und ein fixer Wert ( Vermutlich 16383 oder etwas darunter) ist DOWN.

Am besten du fährst das Gear aus ( oder lädst das Flugzeug am Boden wenn es ausgefahren ist) und überprüfts welchen "SIM Value" ( oder hieß das FSUIPC Value) eben deiner Output Config Angezeigt wird.
DAS ist der Wert den das Gear hat wenn es DOWN ist.

Der Rest ist pure Fleißarbeit..... Die Rote LED muss an sein wenn das Gear "gefahren" wird.... Also "zwischen UP and DOWN) ..... Und es muss AUS sein wenn es eben Up doer Down ist.
Da "0" bei einer LED immer AUS bedeutet und es ziemlich sicher bei UP "0" ist..... Dann brauchen wir nur für DOWN eine Bedingung.

Angenommen das Gear ist bei "16383" wenn es DOWN ist.... Dann sagst du im Compare "WENN Wert= 16383, DANN 0 SONST $"
Somit bei UP ( Eingang 0 Ausgang 0 OFF) Bei Transit (Eingang 1-16382 Ausgang 1-16382 ON) Bei DOWN (Eingang 16383 Ausagng 0 (Durch Compare) OFF)

du bist der Beste, ich bin so happy. Alles funktioniert. Mein Fehler war im Compare: ich habe geschrieben: wenn 16383, dann 0 sonst 16383 anstatt wenn 16383 dann 0 sonst $. Das Schöne ist ja, daß man das im Output verfolgen kann.

This topic is old but had one similar question.
How to read landing gear state from the sim if there is no preset in config wizard.
I can't find it in the A32NX preset offers. Is there a way to read from MSFS2020?

Welcome to Mobiflight !

If there exist no Preset for a element this can have 3 reasons.

1. It is not possible to do this ( pretty rare. We can mostly do all we like to do)

2. Nobody still create it. All Presets are build by users who need this for there own cockpit and share the Data as a Preset to the community.
So you need to dig the needed Events and Variables.... Build the RPN Code and if its work you should share it on HubHop (The Database where we create the Presets).

3. The Preset is not needed in case we use a other existing source ( Thats pretty sure the case in your situation )

Not sure how the A320 work here ( i only fly Boeing) .... But in 99% of Aircrafts the Gear uses the stock Sim Variables.
Same for other things. Every Addon i use in the past handle e.g. COM1 via Sim Variable and have no own COM Presets.

Solution:
Try out "Generic" as Aircraft Type and search for "Gear"

First I want to thank you for your answer, just found out that I have been just lazy and I had to dig deeper into MobiFlight to get my answer. Have resolved everything and now everything works like a charm.
The gear module is just a part of my A320 Cockpit.
