I have searched the forum and was surprised that i could not find questions about Goflight modules.
So is there a way to use my Goflight modules with mobiflight ? For inputs like a joystick ?
Thanks,
Daniel

Whys your wondering ?

People who use Mobiflight, have the main target to avoid premade Elemtns like GoFlight, OpenCockpit, Saitek and so on.
Normaly those premade Elements have there own Software ..... Thats why people buy this to have no work of programming or learning a Software ..... Simply Plug&Play.

For sure.... Your request is good.... Cause some users who own these Parts think ( same as you) to migrate them into MF to have "only one" System and no longer need multiple Drivers.

So not wonder..... The casual MF User is not the guy who own those Panels.... thats why you not find much informations here !

*******
To awnser question.....
I don´t know! .... You need to give me Links how these Panels work, Datasheet e.g. ! Then i can tell you waht is possible.

Basically:
- MF support Arduino ( Mega ) and in the future Micros and Uno pretty sure) . If these Panels work with a other Controller ( or With Mega but with other IC´s like no Max7219 for Displays) then a DIRECT Controll is not possible.....
- If these Boards use for INPUT a HID Joystick System..... Then YES. With MF 9.1 and above we now can use this Joystick Inputs within MF!
- A Rework of those Panels is maybe possible.... But this is a fully other Thing. Here we need to get deeper !
Good Luck !

Thanks for the answer.
Fsuipc uses a dll that comes with the goflight modules so the modules show up as joysticks, so they would be easy to program using the mf 9.1 like i did for my other joystick boards.
I love to use mf with L variables that are not programmable otherwise...and even create new variables as explained on a web site.
But i understand the basic goal of mf..i just have a uno board...i guess i should buy a few megas...
Cheers,
Daniel

hhhmmmm....

MF work with "HID Devices".... So in easy words "with Joysticks".

As i said i not know your GoFlight stuff.... But if they use a DLL from FSUIPC to be shown as Joysticks "there", then i not think they are compatible.
We not care what FSUIPC see or do..... In FS2020 FSUIPC is no longer a part in the Mobiflight Logic !

Whatever.... You can simply Confirm this.....
If your Goflight is a "Joystick" ( from windows point of view) then it is listed in the HID Devices list in Hardware/Device Manager.
And then its also shown in MF Dropdown as possible source of Device.

If NOT.... Then it is no Joystick and also not compatible !
Good Luck !
