Hi folks,

i'm searching for a special switch, which you have to pull to switch like this one: https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/NKK-Switches/S1AL?qs=ZEIBj%2FxFsqVYnaEhK5B06A%3D%3D&mgh=1&vip=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw2bmLBhBREiwAZ6ugo_TKYP23ZA5i_7y9qmOmUlMFeIxeSqHkxjqEtNK_RjlcvFtYFM0_FhoC0k0QAvD_BwE

Where to get it in Germany?

Thanks in advance

Hi

Do i understand right...... the "Pull" is not functional..... its just a "Protect" to not use the Switch by fault ?
Pretty sure for "GEAR" ???

If Yes. This is build mostly by a simple ON-OFF-ON Switch without any Pull mechanic...... the "Pull Feel" is build mechanical in the Holder.
May you know the basic Flaps Logic with Nodges and a Spring in the Shaft.....

So you "pull" the Shaft against a Spring located on the hub.... There is a multiple nodge area where a bolt on the Lever clitch into..... Without pull you can not move the lever in case it is bound in the nodge. By pull you can move it and by stop pulling the Spring "pull" the Lever into the next nodge !
Good Luck !

Yes and No.

Yes, the pull is only for protection against switching by fault.

No, obviously not for a gear. But e.g. for the Engine Start Switch.
I think it would be a little confusing if you turn them off "by accident" during flight. Ups....:O

For the gear with pull mechanic i printed it myself as you can see here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5013919

:-)

Engine Start switches ?
You mean "Fuel Cut Off" pretty sure..... Cause those will shutdown your Engines if you move them by fault ( so they also have these Pull Protect)
The "Engine Start selectors" ( Boeing) can not shutdown the engine..... There is no effect to the Engines if they still run (whatever you turn the switch in any of the 4 Positions.)
Here the "Push/Pull" is needed also to handle a "spring" in the real aircrafts. This spring finally moves the switch automaticly to OFF Position after the engine start is finished.

So not get confused..... THERE this is no protection. There it´s a mechanical feature to allow the automatic swtiching.

EDIT: For sure.... If you talk about e.g. a cessna and the Magneto Switch ( Starter) .... I don´t know. Do the Engines goes OFF if you turn this key-switch inflight ?
Good Luck !

In the A321 there are two switches for Engine Start

And either is the FSX wrong against reality or here are really switches like desired.

If the engines are running and i klick these the engines will shut down.

During flight? Naaa....pls don't....
