Hi everyone,

with this programm I had surprisingly quick success getting a stepper motor to work. I hooked it up to the airspeed indicator offset (0x02BC) and it turns into the right direction. I know how to calibrate the zero speed setting. What I really don't get is how I need to adjust the "Sim / Stepper" values so that I get it to match the airspeed indicator.

I am hoping for a short explanation on where I would get the correct values or a method of how to adjust the values by trial and error.

Thanks a lot in advance for any replies.

Hi Korny,
the best way to solve your problem is to set values by the interpolation window.
First of all you should check that your stepper turns full 360 degree according to your speed indicator of your aircraft. To get this running watch your offset value. I don“t know what kind of aircraft you are flying with but for example if you have a cessna a half turn of the indicator is more or less 100 mph depending of the aircraft.
Then switch to the interpolation window. There you can set for each speedvalue the corresponding offsetvalue to fit with your stepper. The best way is to accelerate your airplane on the runway, press "Pause" e.g. every 10 mph and change the interpolation value as long as your stepper fits to the indicated speed too. This is really easy but mayy be need a little bit of experience. Just try it out.
If you have further problems come back to this place.

Hi Michael,

the way you describe it, is the way it is intended to be done! :) I feel bad, because I never provided proper documentation for this function. But I will.... soon!
Have a great day!
Sebastian
