Hi there,

i'm still pretty new to MF and kinda successful.

The testing function for outputs is quite nice, you can see whether all of your LEDs are working (cables, correct soldering....) but what i miss is a function to test inputs like switches.

It shouldn't be to difficult to implement, but would bring a lot of comfort. You can see whether your buttons / switches are working and if a "signal" fires up into MF.

What do you think?

Cheers

Hi

This is still implement !

Enable the "Logging Mode" Typ DEBUG.
Then Start MF Connector..... You not need to RUN MF itself ( Run Button)

If you now look on the "Logging String" (The text Area below the Configs) you can observe all your Inputs.
If you press e.g. a Button you will see there a message like "Buttonxyz "OnPress" ..... Config (not) found"
So you see....
1. What Input is used.
2. What action is done.... e.g. Press, Release, On LEft, On Left fast and so on
3. If a Config exist that is located to this input

EDIT: I know this feature is a little "hide" in the software...... But i not know how to make it better.....
Outputs are executed by Mobiflight. So we build simply the TEST Button..... That fire all Outputs ON-OFF in a timed sequnece in a row.
BUT
For Inputs the Command is only be send if the user push a button or turn a Encoder ( Or move a Poti in the newest Version)
So the only way is a "passiv Test" That run in the backround (Logging mode) and for sure a Test of a Input only can happen if the user activate this input by hand !

Ah, yes, with the debug function it is working.

I thought like in the Output-Settings/Display, where you have a dedicated Test-Button, it would be nice to have a visual component in the Input-Setting/Input, indicating when a button / Switch is pressed.....

But anyhow....i can live with it.
