Hello

I want to use the FAST option of the encoders changing Heading, Speed, etc but is very slow rotating the encoder.

I have programed a lot of variables with FSUPC EVENT ID, Now I want to use the FAST of encoder, but I do not understand the Customize Settings:

EVENT ID:
PARA:

EVENT ID can understand..., but.... ¿PARA?...¿It´s a Spanish word?:D :D :D It´s posible to customize it to use the FAST opcion of the encoder? ¿Yes?¿How?. Please.

Best regards,

Hi

"Para" means "Parameter"

A EVENT ID is like a recorded INput sequence..... You start a internal action that is defined in the Sim/FSUIPC .....
Most Events are "EXECUTEe Events" .... Means they not accept a Parameter ( or simply ignore it) .... So it´s no mater if you use PAra 1 or Para 99999 the do always the same.
For example "Increase AP Altitdue" will simply increase the Alt by 100ft if you start the action..... No way to change this !

The "Parameter" are used mostly for "SET Events" . For example the "Set QNH" Event will set the QNH Setting to the Value you use in the Parameter Field.....
In easy words.... Parameter 1013 set QNH to 1013 !

A special thing are the PMDG Events..... Here PMDG use Numbers for different Mouse Actions. So Parameter 8192 is the same like a Mousewheel Down Input in the Virtual Cockpit.
BUT This is PMDG Only and not need to care you if you not work with PMDG !!!!

*****************

Solution:
If you work with EventID´s and you like a "Fast" Action then your Aircraft (AddOn) must have multiple Events or must support special Parameters.
For example in the new PMDG´s we can increase Altitude by 500 or 100 if we use 2 different Parameters !

For Standard EventID´s from FSX this is not possible..... There exist no "fast" Events there.
Only way here..... USe OFFSET Inputs instead of EventID ....... There you can say something like $+100 ( for normal) and $+500 for Fast.
Good Luck !
