Hello,
First of all this is a great software and I would like to thank the developers. :)
I've already tried to connect 7-LED with the max7219- works great.:thumbup:

So how should I connect a simple encoder like this to the Arduino mega?
I mean what resistors should I use to which pins etc.

I was looking for a tutorial on the tutorials section and forum but couldn't find one.

Thanks.

Thank you, but I'm already have the KY040 and using it with mobiflight w no problem. but I want to use the simple encoder also.

I just saw the tutorial for mobiflight on youtube with this cheap encoder, so i was wondering how he wired it to the mega:

The encoder has three pins
* left
* right
* ground - usually the middle pin, some encoders have it at one side

The left, right pin goes to an I/O pin each and the Ground is connected to an GND pin on your Arduino.
Have a great day!
