Hello, all.

Today, I downloaded the latest version of Mobiflight (8.2.0) for use with my X-Plane 11 and I cannot get MF to recognize any of the Arduino Mega boards I have.
I uninstalled MF and reinstalled several times today and am still unable to 'assign' or configure modules in the SETTINGS tab.

Everything in the MobiFlight Modules tab is greyed-out and under 'Configured Modules,' it shows "NONE."

I have my USB connection to Arduino via a powered USB Hub...and the Arduino Mega board I have tried are all brand new, right out of the box.

What am I doing wrong and what have I missed?

Thank you very much for any insights you can provide.

Hi

Not possible to give you a direct awnser wothout "see" the situation !

Are the Boards detected by WINDOWS ???
Check the Device Manager of Win7/10 if the Boards are listed as "Com Devices"

Are the Board Drivers installed in Windows ??

Maybe your problem is the Chip itself...... Some of the Clones are using a different System as the "Standard" Megas!

For Original Megas and some of the Clones the correct drivers are included in the "Arduino IDE"
The others are CH340 or CH341 Drivers. Check this.... http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_EXE.html

If this not work may your USB Driver, Mainboard Driver are wrong or you have a power problem !

Good Luck !

Thank you for the reply.

All Arduino boards I have tried are all the Mega variety and are genuine Arduino products, not clones nor knock-offs.

Arduino IDE was installed and is detected by Windows 10.

I have tried numerous USB connections both the the AC-powered hub and through the computer directly.

Still unable to get MobiFlight to load onto the Mega.

Very, very puzzling.

Am standing-by for any other recommendations and assistance.

Thank you.

Please Check the VID/PID Settings of that Boards..... ( Device Manager/ComPorts ---- Your Board --- "Events" )
Maybe it got a VID/PID we not include already.... So Mobiflight not see it.

Also Link us your Board ... May we can see the issue there.

For me it still sounds like a missing driver at all!
Good Luck !
