Is there someone who could help a nonprofit company with some programing? Virtual Aviation MN is a non-profit corporation to help folks get into aviation. We build small simulators with good controls and use Xplane Pro to run them. Up until now I have been using a basic Lebonar BBI32 board to do the basic cockpit controls for my simulator. I just need 6 to 8 functions most are encoder functions like changing OBS 1 and 2 and heading, heading snyc, altimeter settings, pitch bar adjustment on attitude ind, heading gyro sync, HSI course.

I can pay a fee if someone can help.

Thank you

John

Hi John,
Leo's boards are pretty straight forward and easy to use/program. I can understand you wanting to get away from them if cost is the main consideration. There are pre-configured button boxes that are reasonably priced. https://www.propwashsim.com/store/encoderpanel
Programming with Mobiflight is easy. It's the building and wiring of the box that requires the effort. https://www.mobiflight.com/forum/topic/6428.html

Hi

In case MF is Freeware you can use them for own usage. If you "sale" your boards (commercial) then this is a other point. But for sure you can build your Panels and sale them and offert your customers to download Mobiflight and you can also give them a premade MCC File (from MF) that include the configuration and Board settings.

As i know Sebastian not blocking this..... He just request that the user download the Software themself.... So you should not deliver your boards with MF Installation already..... Sharing the MCC and MFMC files is no problem.
( This also prevent from trouble if you presinstall on the Megas a Firmware that is outdated after deliver it.... Best way is if user do this themself ! )

For commercial usage i recommend to talk to Sebastian himself.... Also here he mostly agree.... But talk to him
(Best way to talk to Seb is via DISCORD ! )

About Question itself.....

Also here i recommend to join our Discord Server. ..... https://discord.gg/99vHbK7
There we can directly help you to build this Config Files !
Good Luck !
