Has anyone successfully setup the PMS50 GTN 750 with Mobiflight on MSFS2020?
I'm working on a replica of the Carenado Mooney M20R Ovation and love the PMS50 GTN 750 mod. I've googled and duckduckgo'd my fingers off trying to see other implementations with no success. I think the G1000 by FlightSimMaker might be similar, but I haven't been able to find how the dual encoders are setup in that design yet.

I would love to get a RealSim GTN 750, but the cost right now is a show stopper. So for now I'm looking to use a 7" RPi touchscreen I have and some single encoders, and I know it will involve a lot of conditions to get the encoder working. Any direction to references would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,
Fr0zen

Hi

It should be the same like with every other Input.

If this System exist "Virtual" in the Sim ( So you can handle it with the Mouse) you can mostly also controll it via Mobiflight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKBjEl9E5A4
This Guide is a little "Outdated" cause its from the first days we implement the WASM Tool. But the main technique is still the same.... Just the workarround on MF side change a bit.

Means..... You Use the "Developer Mode" and the Logging from FS2020 to find out what Events are executed if you do something in the Virtual Cockpit..... E.g. turn a Encoder on your Virtual GTN750.
Then you include this Event into the Mobiflight List ( if its not already there)....
And finaly you say in MF that THIS Event should be controlled by your real Encoder.

In easy words.... Find out what the Sim internal do if you use a Virtual System..... Include this Event into MF.... Use it with your Hardware SAME WAY like you will do at the moment with the already available Standard Inputs !
Good Luck !
