Hi friends
thanks for this good program

I have a question. I am making a radio with two 7 segment displays max 7219. com 1 com 2 nav 1 and nav 2.
I am using 4 buttons.

4 green LEDs

two max7219 displays.

The question is. How do I make the 4 values appear on the same screens? It is similar to an A320 radio.
thank you very much for your help. pending pending

Hi Andrew,

please have a look into our tutorial. You find it above in the tab TUTORIALS and then 7 segment display or use this link https://www.mobiflight.com/en/tutorials/seven-segment-display.html.
Here is described how to visualize COM1 on a 7 segment display.
It is not enough to simply display the COM / NAV frequencies. Did you consider that there is an active and a standby frequency for each frequency? Only the standby frequency can be changed via an encoder or do you just want to display it?
When it comes to switching between COM and NAV, MobiFlight has the option of setting the respective display via preconditions.
Make sure that the precondition is selected so that only one config is allowed to be active at a time.
This precondition can e.g. be a switch that represents COM1 / 2 when it is in the OFF position and NAV1 / 2 when the switch is in ON.
You write the switch status to a free offset (from 66C0 to 66FF) (0 for OFF and 1 for ON) and evaluate this offset for your precondition, which in turn activates the corresponding config for COM or NAV.
I have now deliberately kept this general, because it will not do you any good if I can tell you everything in detail. Then you have no learning effect.
If you get stuck with this, just get in touch again. I wish you success.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Good morning friend

I already have the two displays connected,
NAV 1 is running active and standby
I have worked two encoders for frequency selection
the switch from standby to active works.
I have 4 buttons connected to select com1, com2, nav1, nav2 but they don't work.
I was blocked because I don't know what precondition to put or where to put it to be able to display nav 2 com 1 and com 2.

summary: I don't know where to put the precondition and I don't know which one to put either.

thank you very much friend
