Hi,

MobiFlight must always remain installed and active even after the end of development, or the firmware that is uploaded into arduino already contains all the information necessary to make the component work even without activating MobiFlight?

Strange Question ......

MF Connector is the "transmitter" between these 2 Points.... SIM and MEGA.....

The Mega can not send itself a Command to the Sim ( Input) when you press a Button..... And the Sim can not send Data like COM1 Frequency to the Mega cause it can not know there is a Mega connected and also it not "speak the same language" .

MF Connector is the must have Step between!

It detect Inputs from the Mega and execute then commands to the Sim.... OR.... It receive raw values from the Sim.... Recalculate it and send the Commands to the Mega to set e.g. a LED or a Display.

Summary: SURE.... MF Connector must run all time when you like to use your homecockpit !
