I just upgraded to MF 8.1.2. But the encoders do increase the values two times for each detent.

Example: COURSE value increases by 2 degrees for each detent instead of 1 degree.

No changes to encoder device settings. Same as before update: 1 detent per cycle (00). It was working perfectly before.

If I change to 2 detents or 4 detents per cyle it gets even worse.

EDIT: Back on MF 8.0.9.2 now. Everything is working correctly as before. I will stay with that version until ou get it fixed.

Do you Update the Firmware as requested by the Software.....

And More interesting.... After Downgrade .... Do you "EEPROM CLEAR" the Boards and go back to older Firmware that was build for the 8.0.1 ??? OR do you use the "new" Firmware with the "old" Software ?

Also NOTE: If you use BETA before then maybe a firmware is installed that was used for that Beta..... the "new" Firmware finaly got the same Version Number.... But is different.
Means MF not load it cause it think it is still UpToDate.... Whatever it is a older Beta Version in use.

By the way.... "8.0.9.2" have never exist...... There was a 8.0.2 (Live) and a 8.0.2.xx (Beta)

Solution:
1. Make a Restart..... After Flash Firmware, it can be needed to RESTART the Megas to prevent "Double Inputs"
2, If you use BETA before the Update..... AND you have trouble..... I recommend to DELETE the Boards and flash Firmware CLEAN for new.

Yes, I did follow the instructions on installation. The firmware update progress bar was shown and the dialog confirming the update displayed.

"8.0.9.2" is what Mobiflight Connector shows in its title bar. It also says "BETA".

I will try the update again and check what the title bar will show. Stand By...

Oh the latest download is already 8.1.3.

DId a clean new install (as always).
BTW: I never update from the notification dialog. It creates a mess in the installation folder. A new installation to a clean folder keeps it tidy.

The title bar now shows "MobiFlight Connector (8.1.3). No firmware update was requested this time. But I have 'Firmware Auto upload' active. So it might have updated in the background?

In Extra | Settings the Module Info shows the firmware version as 1.9.10. Is this the correct version for MF Connector 8.1.3?

With that latest version the encoders are finally working correctly. Thank you.

About the other things....

Again Wrong .
MF Version Logic is clear..... The last Live Version was 8.0.2 ..... So the BETA Version number was 8.0.2.X ( in your case 8.0.2.9 )
BUT
It can not be 8.0.9.2 anyway.

About Tidy System....
The only "mess" is the Zip Arcive that is stored within the folder ( to be able to downlgrade in the future)
Otherwise.... A Clean new install ocure every time in a new created folder in the "hidden Local" Section of the System Files.
So ironic.... Your unneeded fresh installs create more "mess" like a Update as recommend.

About Firmware:
NO. Nothing in Backround.
If Firmware is flashed you would get a Message always! No Popup means.... Firmware is/was in current version.
