thanks for this wonderful software.
friends I have a problem. I couldn't connect two Arduino mega boards. mobiflight only recognizes one. the other one appears but with the Arduino icon and does not load the mobiflight firmware.
I am using FSX steam with the latest mobiflight update yesterday, it worked, but not today. I already tried with another Arduino board and it doesn't recognize it either. please help. There is a sign that says "THERE WAS AN ERROR ON UPLOADING THE FIRMWARE! ENABKE DEBOUG LOGGING FOR MORE DETAILS.

At first .... Please Confirm Software Version.
We make some Improvements of Board Connection in the current BETA..... So this is not inlcuded in 8.0.2 ..... But still in Beta 8.0.2.xx

So.... Is your problem still happen with the BETA ?
You can download it by enable the "Beta Option" in the Settings Tab. ..... After next Startup MF will update to newest BETA Release.

If Problem still occure....

1. Are both Megas from same Manifactur ?
Some Boards have the CH340 Chips.... Means they need a special own Driver ( Google for that)

2. If also Drivers are actual and still not working....
Please change USB Connection..... Use a Other Port.... Also Change the Cable ( Use the cable/port from Working mega for the other and reversed)
We got some reports of strange non connecting board situations in case of bad wires.

1-actually what worked for me was to unplug the switches and load the firmware with the card without any connection.
2-Another thing I found out is that I have to connect the cards and immediately start the mobiflight. If I delay in connecting the cards, the firmware will not load.

Strange.

MF Firmware will be startet imediatly after connect them into USB ( Or when you press the Power Button of Computer..... The Firmware is still startup long before the Compuiter itself show the windows screen)
So technical the firmware still "run" whatever you use MF Connector Software or not.
Here "time" from Connecting to startup the MF Connector ( RUN Mode) should be no factor. MF Firmware simply wait until it get a command from the computer for Hours!

Same with your other Report.

If you like to flash firmware ( first time or once again after a problem) its fully no mater if there are Pins connected or not. MF also not know or care about if there is realy a button on a Pin that is used for a button. If there is a LED or a Motor..... It pretty sure will not work in the cockpit.... but there is no issue or error in case MF not "see" the Pin device itself.
For Mobiflight Firmware each Pin is technical Empty until we start the Software and tell the Mega that it should use the Pins now).

New idea.
Is there a electrical Problem ?
If the Firmware crash in short time or you can only handle the Board without connected devices....
May you got a Short circuit. Means the Mega shutdown for savety.

There can be so many different issues. Only testing will help here.
