Watched the great 'mobiflight and MSFS2020 Custom Variables and Events' tutorial on YT. One issue I have I can not get the 'Templates' pane to show to get the custom variables like in the video. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Silicus,

I had the similiar situation when I tried it while using the A32NX mod. After I switched to an Asosbo standard plane (Cessna 172 G1000), it looked much better.
