I completed the tutorial for the parking brake light and it works perfectly in TEST mode. When I go try it in P3DV4.5 it does not work at all. When I go into Mobiflight connector I noticed that it says Modules (Green Checkmark), Sim Status (yellow !), SimConnect (MSFS2020) Green Checkmark. I do not have MSFS2020 installed on my computer (nor did I ever), so I am not sure why it even shows MSFS2020, yet alone a green Checkmark. If someone can explain why this is happening and how to correct this, I would appreciate it.

In theory SIMCONNECT is a Part of all Microsoft Sims ( FSX, P3D , FS2020)

I Wondering cause normaly for P3D this should be NOT active.....
P3D also include Simconnect... But the new Tool ( That is shown with this Yellow/Green Element) should only work for now in FS2020.
We plan to maybe incluide it also for P3D in the Future but this is in testing progress and not work ( in casre the old Simcconect work different)

So....

Your Problem !

1. Major issue is... Your "Sim Status" is Yellow ( missing) . Means Mobiflight not see your FSUIPC!
Please Confirm you have installed the newest Release for your Sim. ) FSUIPC5 (P3Dv4) OR FSUIPC6 (P3D v4 or v5)

2. Minor Issue.... Why does the simconnect light up.... I don´t know. Maybe Sebastian still try to impelment it for P3D in backround.
I would simply ignore this for the moment.

Thank you for your help. After installing the proper version of FSUIPC5, I got the parking brake light to work. It still comes up with MSFS2020 green check mark, but this time P3DV4 is also there with a green check mark. All is well.
