I thought I had started to learn a little about this but to day it stopped completely.
I have been trying to program the buttons FMC panel and cant get anything to work correctly.
If I program it as I thought With PMDG Event Id and a 1 on push and a 0 on release it shows double figures on the screen.
I 1 push number 4 once it shows 44 on the screen bottom line. and Its the same on the numbers I have tried.
Shall I use mouse Parameter iso custom parameters.
I thought a push button should be an easy matter to handle, but anyone to help

Hi Henning.....

iconhrings:

Shall I use mouse Parameter iso custom parameters.

YES

Same rule like in all other PMDG Inputs !

A Momentary Button NOT need a Release.... And for Press it use a LEFTCLICK Single Parameter.
( Like always... Use the same Parameter you would use in Virtual Cockpit.... And thats a Leftclick on the FMC Buttons)

A Latching Switch use Value Parameters.... 2 Way mostly 0=OFF ...1 = ON . Multiposition mostly work from UP-->DOWN or LEFT-->RIGHT and use 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and so on.

Encoders use Mousewheel UP/DOWN Parameters for Left and Right ( And in NGX"u" also Leftclick and Rightclick for x5 fast inputs)
Good Luck !
