I have connected the IRS display and it shows coordinates, but wrong one.
Where it should show NN55.37.38.18 E12.39.09.09 is it showing N84411 and E055309 Parking D2 CPH
Anyone that can explain why and is it possible to correct or just live with it

Hi

Like always... We can not see your System.

What Aircraft ? PMDG.... 737NGX .... 737 NGXu..... 777....747 ???

What Offset do you use and what settings in the config ?

Please Information and a screenshot of the config or a detailed report what Offset, Typ, size and all other settings you have done.
Good Luck !

AS usual.
P3Dv4, PMDG737 NGx
But I am not aware on how to post the screenshot that I have but
Connector setup
Left display 6C5A and show N87080-- N8780
Right display 6C61 and show E051250---E051250
On left: FSUIPC: "String" and display " IRS Dspl / 1" "number of digits 8 left padding "Yes" and "0" and notch in use display 3,4,5,6,7,8
On right: FSUIPC : "String" and display "IRS Dspl /2" number of digits 8 left padding "yes" and "0" and notch in use display 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.
Use of use display has to do with the space 1 and 2 in left and 8 i right is out of view

Offsets looks good.
I´m not sure if LEFT PADDING YES and =0 is needed and profitable here.. I would need to test this.

But whats the exact problem now ???? The last Screenshot show the Output is simmular to the readout data..... So it should be fine already.

And also your first and second posting are confusing.....

First Posting:
iconhrings:

Where it should show NN55.37.38.18 E12.39.09.09 is it showing N84411 and E055309

So you tell here it show 2 Numbers that are fully wrong and have no real reverence to each other.....

Second Posting:
iconhrings:

Left display 6C5A and show N87080-- N8780
Right display 6C61 and show E051250---E051250

The missing "0" on the left Display was pretty sure just a typing issue here in Forum Post....
So this tell me both Displays NOW show the same that they should show.

**************
Summary: Whats now the problem ?
Good Luck !

UPDATE:

I just search the Coordinates and check my Maps.....
Now i think i understand.
Your problem is NOT a technical (Mobiflight related) issue .... Right ?

You mean your Displays show the correct Value that is also shown on the IRS Display in the Virtual Cockput
BUT This coordinates are WRONG and not represent current Position of the Plane...... But the are also wrong in the Virtual Display of the PMDG! Correct ?

At First i not understand what you mean with...
iconhrings:

Where it should show NN55.37.38.18 E12.39.09.09 is it showing N84411 and E055309 Parking D2 CPH

You mean the D2 Parking Stand of the Airport Coppenhagen EKCH .
But your IRS show a Point somewhere northwest of Spitzbergen..... So thousend of miles away.

*****************
If i understand you correct.... then this is a problem in the PMDG !
Confirm you do a correct IRS alligment. No Movement while do this. Is your FMC correctly programmed ?
Good Luck !

Yes you have understood it correctly.
When parked at D 2ekch it shoud show thoose coordinates but as you said both Mobiflight, IRS on my overhead, panel and the viritual cockpit screen is showing the position far North and wrong.
The INS is aligned properly as we did in actual flying and FMC is working correctly and perfect

Hi again.
Nice we now talk about the same !

But i must say... Thats fully a PMDG or SIM Problem.
Mobiflight work 100% correct in case it show the same data that are used in virtual cockpit.

What i would do.....

1. Testing and a little Try&Error. Load a fully new State (Cold and dark) OR Transfer your Aircraft to another spot OR Fly a short track . may just a temporary isue in case of a wrong panel state loading file.

2. If "1" not help check your Sim Status..... Do you update the NavAids from the Sim itself in the past.... Maybe a wrong "MagVar" Update. Get it UpToDate !
And by the way.... Confirm also your PMDG is UpToDate !

3. If all not help.... Worst Case is a reinstallation or a help request to PMDG.... But not expect fast help. I wrote a lot of ticket to PMDG with Issue and Bug Reports. Never get a awnser !
Good Luck !

Thanks Pizman82.
I have tried everything but still the same reading.

I doubt that it is PMDG and sim fault because taking up the position on screen(virtual Cockpit) from the sim with shift Z it shows correct.
Why can't I get this position out to the IRS display
I am still using P3Dv4 and the PMDG NGx and both are the latest version.
I am unable to use PMDG NGXu as it has some problems to work with my hardware.(GND PWR switch will not shift to on position) and I hav'nt moved to v5 (yet)
Is it possible that it is a wrong Offset that I use that can cause this problem

Hi again

You confusing me....

iconhrings:

If i understand the last topics correctly then the "wrong" Value is also in the PMDG.
So the Virtual IRS Display show a wrong Position..... And Mobiflight just show the position that is also shown in the Virtual IRS.

If thats correct then the issue MUST be inside of PMDG/Sim.... Cause you confirm the virtual IRS is not work correctly !

**************
What do you still test of my recommended ideas ?

Does the Coordinates change if you fly a short track.... Or does they change if you move aircraft to another spot ?

For me the first question is.... Is the Value fixed ( stay always at this point) OR is this a Offset of a Value.... So if you movre 100 miles to the WEST.... Does this coordinates correctly move to west ( They are still wrong but the moving is techical right) .

***********
I´m sorry i can not give you a better idea a.t.m. If this would happen to me i would test.... Specialy Load a Main State ( The origional Cold and Dark) and make a fully correct Startup with IRS Alligment.
Good Luck !
