Hello, I do not see anyone else with this problem so I am sure it is just me. I would like some guidance.
I have installed the Mobiflight Connector 8.0.1 set up a tachometer with Adreno Mega, have tested it in the "display" and it works there.
I log into MSFS (standard install) and get a green check mark on Modules, and Simconnect however no check for SimStatus also there is no display of FSUIPC.
I have copied the folder in the installation to my community folder. After MSFS 2020 is running and I have a flight loaded I click Run in mobiflight and get a red exclamation next to the line for the Tach (this is the only thing set up) when hovering over the red Exclamation it state "No FSUIPC connected"
I have removed and reinstalled both Mobiflight and MSFS 2020 with no success in correcting the issue. I run AVG antivirus and turned it off when installing Mobiflight.

> Tachometer Mobiflight Mega Tachometer Servo 0x2400 blank blank

this is the line.

Please let me know if you understand. I am not an expert by any stretch just feel I missed a step.

Next step is to restore computer to factor settings :(

Hi

Welcome to Mobiflight !
You missunderstand the basic system !
Your Speed Gauge is a OUTPUT.... ( Cause it use a Motor to show something) Means it READ a Value from the Sim !

Read data is only done via FSUIPC Offsets.
So sure.... If you try to read a Offset Adress for a Output and you have no connection to FSUIPC it can not work!

The "SimConnect Tool" is only to make special INPUT Actions.
Normaly we would do the Inputs also via FSUIPC but in case lots of stuff is missing there, Sebastian impement this new tool.

SOLUTION:
1. Your Simconnect Tool looks good if Checkmark is green..... Means you install eveything correctly on first view.... So INPUTS should work !

2. Your FSUIPC installation is wrong or fully missing.
Please Confirm you install and setup "FSUIPC Version7 for FS2020" Freeware should be enough at the moment! You not need to buy the Reg. Version !
Good Luck !

Ok so I have installed Fsuipc7 and start it from the desktop which starts MSFS2020 during startup I get an error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022) Click ok to close the application.

Could this be because I did not install it in the correct location on my hard drive or perhaps a key component was blocked thru my antivirus software.

At this point I am looking for any ideas.

Thank you for your help.

This question must be awnser by the FSUIPC Support.

I not have FS2020 myself.... so maybe a other user can help.
Otherwise read the FSUIPC Documentation, Check the FAQ on there Homepage and if needed ask these guys for help !

To give you a short awnser.... Sure. If a Antivir block a Programm you like to use, you must allow it to install....
May your need of a save feeling is high..... But a Programm that is blocked can not work !

And about the folder.... Here i not know if there is a difference in FS2020. Normaly it should be "standaloane". Means it can be install in every "free" folder ( expect Windows secured folders like c:/programmfilesx86) Normaly the Sim should "activate" it on first startup if your installation was correct.
In the past you need to link the location of the Sim while FSUIPC installation.... Maybe this is automaticly today.... Just observe the instalation process.... then you know it!
Good Luck !

Hi toyztoyz2000
I had the same problem but managed to solve it
I am no expert but this is what I did
Uninstalled FSUIPC7 completely, then reinstalled it. I does not appear to matter where you install it, mine is on a different Drive than my MSFS2020
After this all is working fine. I had had it working well before I had to reinstall MSFS2020 then after that it was not working
But all good now so hope this helps:)
