Can anyone give me the offset for an Encoder for the Altitude. I have tried allsorts but can't get it to work.

Come on guys.... How should we awnser those poor questions ??
At First... The Topic name is worst ever ! Help!

Its like you ask in a car mechanic board " how can i start the engine" .
Do you talk about a motorcicle, a car , a boat or about your water pump in the garden ?
If you talk about a car.... Do you talk about VW, Toyota, Ford or what ?
What typ of Toyata finaly.... And do you still know what a key is and how to handle it ?

Tell us....

1. What Sim ( FSX, P3D, Xplane, FS2020 ....)
2. What Aircraft ( Stock or AddOn)
3. If AddOn What Addon ( PMDG, Aerosoft ....)
4. What Function exactly ? Altitude !!!! .... AP Altitutde, Current Altitudy in translocate mode, Landing Altitude, Pressure Altitude, Cabin Altitude ???
5. Confirm your basic system work.... Eg. Other AddOn Functions are work, Encoder is work and so on.

The reason I put help was because I don't know. I am using FS2020 the aircraft is Airbus A380 Stock. No addons. I have loaded your parking break and that works OK, but I can't get and Encoders to work. So I would like a list on offsets that people have used so I can try them. I have got the numbers to work on the altitude but no encoder. I didn't know that there are different offsets for each aircraft.

Keep cool. We all start on the same point and need to learn/understand the facts. So its fully OK that you not know this.
In case we not see your system and we also not rememeber what every user will work with.... Its high recommend to include in every single Topic you open the main Info like SIM and AIRCRAFT.

About your Problem:

FS2020 is confusing at the moment. Some Elements work.... Others will not at the moment. Also there is a new tool ( Simmconnect events) that will technical work for nearly all Elements..... But it need a little Self work. No Presets by one click..... here you need a little experience to find out the Events and include it yourself.
Check the Mobiflight Videos ...... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxsoCWDKRyu3MpQKNZEXUYA Specialy the tutorial for the Events.

Hopefully in the future these new events get explord by the users and we can include them into the main Software.... So we come back to a "One Click" Preset like in the past.

I am using FS2020 the aircraft is Airbus A380 Stock. No addons

I wondering..... The FS2020 not include a A380 in stock. May my information is wrong. But this shoul be already a AddOn Isn´t it ?

Sorry the aircraft is an Airbus A320 neo you are right. Thanks for the other information I will have a look to see if I understand it.
