I have a lot of 2560 cards running and have problems with only one of them.
I have a board on the main Panel (MIP1) and after a while ( f.inst. after landing and parking) it switches it self off the line.
All Led's (Landing Gear etc) does not work
If I Stop MF Connector from running and run it again all is ok again.
Anyone that can give me a clue of what this is. Have no such problems with the other cards from same delivery.

Hi Henning.
Its not posible to say " Thats the reason" cause there are many many possible issues. The only way to find out is testing !

Possible Problems:

1. A Broke Card....
Whatever if you buy 20 High Qualitiy Intel CPUs each for 1000$ ..... One will get broke after some years.... One will work already fine after 50 years and the other 18 stop working sometime between. In electronics nothing work forever.... Means some devices ( from the same charge) get broke verry early.

2. A Electrical issue.
Short circuits, a Device with a Power Loop or so. Maybe just critical in a strange situation... e.g. it stop if 3 special LED are ON same time.

3. Wire / Cable Problem
We got some reports of issues in Megas that was solved after change the USB Wire. Specialy the free gift wires included in cheap Megas can be in verry low quality.

4. Overpower
Maybe one device overdrive the Power Limit of a Pin .... Or all devices together overrun the 500mA or 800mA limits.

Solution.... Is testing !

I have a lot of 2560 cards running and have problems with only one of them.

So Step 1 is easy.... Disconnect the USB Wires on MEGA side from a Working Mega and from the "broke" one..... Swap them and connect the former working Mega to the wire that was on the Broke one.... and reversed...
If now the other Mega stop working then you know 100% the USB Cable is the Problem. If the same Mega is broke again we need to go further.

Step 2. Change/swap two Megas itself.
Save the MFMC Settings of the Broke and of a other Mega to a backup file.
Then Discoonect all wires from Both Megas and connect them on same Pins of the other one each.
Then EEPROM Clear both and flash ne Firmware and finaly Upload the backup Device Data to it (Reversed .... Backup 1 to Mega 2 .... Backup 2 to Mega 1)
So Mega 1 get config of Mega 2 and also all wires.... And Mega 2 get all from Mega 1.
If now the Problem also Swap and the former Broke Mega result in errors on its new place you know the Mega itself is broke. If Problem remain on the old spot ( Whatever with a other Mega you need to research again)

To save Time you can also simply use a New Mega instead of the Broke one.... So you not need to rewire a other Board for that test. Same Logic.... If it work then the old Mega is Broke. If it not work with a brand new one then go to next step.

Step 3. Single Testing in all Points.
Calculate the Power usage. Check every single line for shortcircuits.... Maybe Work Pin by Pin.... So delete all devices. Create only one... Then test. If it work create the next.
Simply find out exactly WHEN the problem occure.
Maybe you find out that simply Pin xx is broke and all work fine if you not use it. Or you find out a special device ( like a LCD) occure in the Problem and you just need to remove this one device and all is fine.

Good Luck !
