Hi, I've been trying for a long time to program a button that when I press it, I get the HDG with the heading of the plane, but I don't know how to do it, I only manage to set the heading North.
You can help me, thank you.
FS2020 simulator
Plane - TBM 930
Windows 10

thank you very much

You can kind of do that by using the AP_HDG_HOLD events from the new MSFS2020 Events. Well, sending the event will set the heading bug to the heading of the plane and switch on the HDG mode of the A/P. Just switch if off afterward.

Just had a better idea : Use a combination of On Press and On Release events

On Press : MSFS2020Events/STANDARD/AP_HDG_HOLD => This will set the heading bug according to the real heading of the plane and switch ON the HDG A/P mode
On Release : MSFS2020Events/STANDARD/AP_HDG_HOLD_OFF => This will switch the HDG A/P mode OFF.

Then, it should work as you wish.

Thank you very much Cotam, I will try to do it as you say, although I do not understand very well how to put the variable of the course in the event
