As the title says, can we use characters using a 7-segments display. Of course a limited set of characters.
It is useful for the transponder indicator when at the first 3 digits we can write the status of the transponder (like tst=test, stb=standbt, on)
How can achieve this?

Yes this is possible.... but sure only in a rudimnetary way.



So some Characters looks fine.... others are not realy usefull. To get a good result you also need to choose for Small or Big Chars is some way....
Like a big "T" is not real possible... but a samll "t" work..... A small "s" looks strange... But a big "S" is fine again.

Here are the available Chars within Mobiflight....

Finaly.... You use this within the Compare Tab.
There you can use Characters instead of Values or also a Combination.

Syntax....
If you use Chars only you can say e.g. IF Value = 1 THEN Hello ELSE Pizza. So it will write that words instead of the numbers.
If you need a Combination you use something like Stb +$ So it write STB 12345 eg.
Also more difficult formulas are possible.... tell me if you need help.
