Hey,
I am trying to get an alternative Arduino Mega working with Mobiflight for an integrated project with tight spaces. I used an ICQUANZX Mega 2560 PRO Mini from Amazon, and for my normal configuration (one stepper attached), it works fine. If I however enable an Auto-Zero input (a light gate in my case), I get an "upload finished with errors" when uploading in the Settings/MobiFlight Modules tab. I crosstested with an original Mega 2560 I have for testing here and that works fine. I do not see any differences between those two on a software side and the general firmware upload worked also flawlessly - is there some kind of error log with WHAT error the config upload failed?
Cheers, Niels

Hi

With those Errors Sebastian have more experience. You can try the standard Logging Mode of MF.... Enable it in settings.... Typ DEBUG.
Then make the Upload.... And finaly after close MF you can check the log.txt file within the MF Folder. Maybe there is a information there.

About basic problem.... Your Mega sounds good. But for confirm can you link us the amazon page you order it.
There exist some different "Pro Mini" Like Pro Mini, Pro Micro, MicroPro , or MegaPro Micro and so on. Not all are compatible.

About situation.

1. You confirm the same Setup.... E.g. a Stepper on Pins a,b,c,d, and the lightsensor on pin x is upload to TWO different boards.... it work on a standard Mega but not on yours.

For reproduce the issue.... Please get sure BOTH Setups are 100% the same and as easy as possible....
So Does the Problem happen if you ONLY use this Stepper Device.... No other stuff. OR is problem happen just if you have also 30 other elements on that board ?
Good Luck !

Hey,
thanks for the quick reply!
I actually just solved it now by the reminder of Blitz in the discord - solution was to just really clear EEPROM, program etc and reflash the whole Arduino. Just for reference what I have done for others:
-Stepper is connected to 4 pins, autozero (light gate) to another
-Autozero takes the input of the light gate as "zero" value position; in my case for example, it's a wet compass and the light gate is mounted in the back, so I have to add 180 in the transformation to allow for this mounting position (zero null position is +180° of "visible" null position)
Used and now working is this arduino: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07MQ1J9MR/ref=pe_3044161_185740101_TE_item
and this light gate: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07GRBPF6L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have ordered two more of those arduino replicas and will test with them if I can reproduce this error I had - if not, it might have just been a fluke...
