I've just started using MF with P3D V4 and FSUIPC5 (registered) for a GNS530 for the carenado pc-12 (using the default carenado GNS530 for now). I'm having an issue with any input button, whenever i click on the input in FS, it generates one event in the FSUIPC console. when i press the configured MF button, it generates two events for one push (see examples below). I have tried setting the input to "on push" and "on release", both have the same affect. does anyone know what is causing this?

Example when manually clicking in FS:

Example when pressing the MF button:

I'm using a genuine arduino mega 2560, tried using different buttons, updating firmware, restarted multiple times etc...

Hi Ryan,

please try only to use the OnPress function. To swap the frequency the OnRelease function is not required. So you have only one event.

Hi

1. Please confirm you did no mistake. Do you create this input twice ?
You can simply check by enable temporary the Mobiflight Logging Mode ( DEBUG) and check the Logging string.
If you use the Button you will see there.... a indication for PRESS and a Indication for RELEASE. And also what related Config (command) is used and send.

So confirm..... You use only ONE Config with that button ( not a second one below) .... AND..... This Button only use the ON PRESS Function. Not a release with same command at the same time.

****
2. If Point 1 is not the reason then you simply got a double Command Problem.
This "can" happen in rare situations with 2 reasons.

A ) You have create the divice in this season.... (Without a restart of Arduino). Normaly this is no problem but in some (rare) situations this occure in a double Input. BUT A simple restart of Mobiflight Software AND the Arduino (Disconnect from USB --> wait 10 seconds --> reconnect) will solve this and it will work now at all times!

B ) A Problem with Admin Modes..... Get sure your SIM and MOBIFLIGHT are running in the same mode. BOTH as Admin or BOTH as Non-Admin.
A Combination of 2 different modes also can occure in "Double commands" ( Specialy in Key Presses)
Good Luck !

It's working now.

I was using either On Press or On Release, but it was still showing as active for both on the debug log. deleting the line and creating a new line seemed to solve the problem for me.
