Hello all~I'm new to mobiflight and try to making radio panel now,

I wish to know how to make the com1 display changed when I switch between VHF1-3/HF1-2 and AM.

I can display the VHF1 freq in 7-segment display now, but the display didn't change when I switch to VHF2 and else other. I can't find the offset to read and the select state of com1, could anyone help me on this? Thanks!

Hi

This is a missing tool. I request for that long time ago in the PMDG Forums. Until now no reply.
Whatever.... If they fix it pretty sure only in the NGX"u" for P3Dv5 and FS2020. The old NGX (FSX/P3D) maybe never get this tool.

In the PMDG B777 and B747 the needed Offset exist and can be used.

Last Note: We can think about a improvisional system with some tricky preconditions..... Then the Homecockpit is not synchron to the PMDG.... But technical we can build it.
Good Luck !

Thanks for reply! I just think manual switch to other display when press the buttons by precondition setting.

By the way, does there any state offset about the com1 channel in FSX/P3D or FSUIPC? If I can got them at least I can make the indicator light XD

Correct.

Without that Offset we need to build a "external" Radio..... Indipended from PMDG.

MEans if we press the Button to Show Com2 that means in the Virtual PMDG there is shown already COM1 for example..
I know this is not perfect.... But in case PMDG miss this tool.... What should we do ?

The key here is finaly to use FSUIPC Offsets Only.... Means you NOT use the INPUT of the Virtual PMDG Encoder to change e.g. the currently showd COM1 Value.... Here we must write a config that our Encoder change the currently used COM that we define on OUR Panel ( by Preconditions).

I never figure out myself if all is 100% compatible if you fly the PMDG..... But on first view it should work.

To make your testings....

1. You need the FSUIPC Outputs for COM1 and COM2 Stby and Active.
2. You need the FUIPC Offsets ( Or EventID) for the Encoders and Swap Buttons ( NOT the PMDG ones)
3. You need a CUSTOM Offet that handle the Modes.

If you like.... Try out. Report experience. I looking forward to support you if needed. May this is the blueprint for many other uers who like to build it.

ALTERNATE:

You can also think about the OLD Boeing 737 ( non NG) System.... Where you got single Radios for COM1 and COM2 ( No VHF1-3 Multiplanels). Simmular to a Cessna if you like to see it so).
Here the Systems are not needed.
Good Luck !
