Hi all,

I am creating a Cessna trim wheel using a rotary encoder (EC11) with a Elegoo Mega 2560. However, Mobiflight does not see the encoder at all. I add the device, upload the current configuration and then within the Display type, the first dropdown i select Mobiflight Mega but the second drop down is empty. i have double checked the pins and made sure the middle connector is ground. I have used a servo and Stepper in the past without any issues and i have tried the encoder on another mega 2560 with the same results. Also i have used another encoder. The Mega board is powered via a powered USB hub.

Hi, as far as i know, an encoder is an "input " device, not an "output".
Please try this option :)
