Can have more reasons.....

a) a Clone that is not listed in Mobiflight Library..... Most of chineese Boards are work fine.... Some not....
In that case you must tell Sebastian the PID Number..... so he can add this in Librarary and after a hotfix mobiflight autodetect your board.
Alternate you can install firmware by hand with a tool like bootloader

b) a bug on the board.
Use Arduino IDE and reset the board ( Use the ClearEEPROM sketch ).... Then its empty and maby can dtected by mobiflight correctly !

c) A broke board.
Maby your Mega is simply dead..... Just check if it work with Blink tutorial for example via Arduino IDE.
Good Luck !

Hi Patrice,

Welcome to MobiFlight!

If you see in MobiFlight only the arduino symbol (see MENU -> EXTRAS -> SETTINGS ->MobiFlight Modules) then it is quite normal and shows you one (or more) Megas that are connected to your PC but it also show, that they do not have the firmware of MobiFlight uploaded.

After you have uploaded the firmware to the mega it will be shown as MF-module. If you have done this you can define your devices which also have to be uploaded to this module. For later purpose you can then save your assigned board-devices into a mfmc-file on your HDD.
Now you can configure this devices in the device list. If you have further questions read this forum or ask in a thread.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)
