Hi simo,

the TM1637 is compatible with the mega but not compatible with MobiFlight.
MobiFlight supports only the MAX7219 Chip
With Max7219 you can build 4 Daisy Chains up to 8 x 8 7 Segment (64) Disgits per chain, so that you have completely up to 256 Digits

Hi simo,

you can use every 7-segment module. The only requirement for you is to use digits with common cathode.

I think his question is different.....

With "module" he mean a premade 4 Digit Block ( including the chip).
NO As i know this not exist. All Max7219 premade Modules i ever seen have 8 Diggits !

BUT

Thats no matter. Cause we not work with Modules.... We work with Displays ! So target is to buy a Display ( without a Max7219 Chip..... Just the naked Display) and then you wire it to a Max7219. Here you not need to wire to a raw chip.... here you use a Module with 8 Diggits..... Then you remove the 2x4 Displays from it and finaly you solder YOUR Display to the now empty connectors.
Its high recommend to use "green" Max7219 Tubes/Modules cause this have Connectors !
Blue ones also work but here you must difficult desolder the Displays..... With the greens you can pull them off within 5 seconds !
Good Luck !
