Hello,
Is it possible to record a macro or a journal file when setting up your MCP hardware with MF? What happens if you transfer the same MCP hardware to another computer? Do you have reprogram the new computer for the MCP or can you export some file with those settings? Where would you install such a file on the replacement computer, assuming that all the arduino drivers and MF are installed from scratch.

If you move your hardware to another computer this process take only 1-2 Minutes.
If you "duplicate" the hardware, too..... Then it takes a little longer.
BUT you never need to make the settings twice.

Mobiflight work with 2 different Types of Data.

1. One side is the Mega.... After Flash the Firmware you create the devices. And these are saved ON THE MEGA !
If you connect Your MCP (and the included Mega) to another Computer all the settings like "Pin 8 is a Button" are still on the Mega itself.

2. The Other side is the Config. This Tell Mobiflight for example that "Data from Offset X should be used for the LED on Mega1 Pin 7"
All these Configs are saved in your Project file ( *.mcc) .

So if you swap to another PC simply do the follow....

1. Install Sim and FSUIPC
2. Install a New Mobflight from our Homepage
3. Use a USB Stick or Network or CD and simply transfer your "MCC File" from the old to the new computer.
4. Connect Your Hardware
5. Start Mobiflight and LOAD the mcc file.
And NOW all is same way like on your old computer !
