I don't know if it's a problem
I use the 737 pmdg for FSX, the APU gen off bus announciator turns on normally during start up, after landing during the taxi to the gate according to the checklist I press on then start but the announciator does not turn on (in the sim instead yes) to turn it on I have to set off then on
Is this normal or is it my problem?
thank

Hi

I not fully understand.... It woud be much more easy if you show me the situation .
Have you access to DISCORD.... If yes a shared screen would be perfect. Then you can rebuild the situation and show me the virtual Cockpit and also same time the Mobiflight Window so i can see exactly what happen.

If YES.... Contact me there. https://discord.gg/99vHbK7 . Username "Pizman" . You can also request to "Stephan" if he is online. He flys the PMDG737 since years and also get high knowledge there.

If NOT ..... Then please check the OUTPUT Tab of Mobiflight and check the Value ( FSUIPC Value and Output Value) of that Configline ( Right collumns) .
Technical the LED just do what the Offset shows.
If the Offset show "0" whatever the Virtual LED is ON in the cockpit then we got a issue within your config OR the System is not correctly simmulated by PMDG. We need to find Out.

Please then report results.... And maybe some screenshots from the config and a Step by Step Guide how i can reproduce it.
OR as i said call me in Discord... Then this can be solved within 10 minutes much more comfortable !
Good Luck !

Thanks for the information, I have discord but I think it is a problem because the "anomaly" occurs after landing, however I try to monitor mobiflight and check the values as you advised me

I would say..... Mobiflight and also your PMDG not know here if it have done a flight or not.

If the probem you report happen e.g. if you activate the APU after vecating the runway and taxi back to gate.....
Then simply Startup your aircraft as you like to do a flight..... But not takeoff . Simply after engines running and you would normaly take off then do the same as after landing.
So you can reproduce the situation within 5 minutes. You not need FMC Settings Flightplaning or so.

I´m online in a half hour after breakfast. If you like call me
Good Luck !

I tried to check, and the values are on 1 but the led is off, to turn it on I have to set the switch (in the panel not in the sim) to off then to on, it's not a problem but it seems to me that some time ago it didn't show up
thanks again for the info

Thats fully unlogical.

If BOTH Collumns are "1" ( So the left for RAW Value and also the Right for OUTPUT Value) Then the LED "must" light up.
It also can not have any context to the switch position if everything i OK.

Your problem can be located on 3 different spots...

1. Software (Config) .
I not see what you do. So there can be Preconditions that are probematic. Does the Config have a Red "!" Symbol to the left if problem occure ?

2. Software (Firmware)
There can be a Issue in the firmware. Here a Reset of Board would be needed. But this takes a while. We should exclude all other posibilitys before you invest 10 -20 Minutes here.

3. Hardware (Wirework)
Whatever i not belive this.... But sure. A short circuit or a wrong selcted wire can be allso the reason.

*****************

To Solve.
If you have some knowledge you can research this in the current setup. If not it is more easy to rebuild it in a new build.

1. Exclude Config issues by creating for testing simply a new file.
Set there only 1 Config ( Output) that read this LED Offset. And test.

2. To exclude a Wire or Firmware issue use a different Mega . Create only 1 LED device ( or use a perfect working LED Output on your current Mega)
Simply test if it work with a different Device to confirm the problem is not the LED itself .
Good Luck !
