In the Left Course window the first number is flickering weak, The number f.inst 1 is clear but it seems like a zero if weak flickering in the background.
The IAS window is on the same mega board and have no flicker at all. I have tried to set the din, cs, clk on other location without help
On the mega board the TX lamp is flickering and it seems with the same rate.
Any help is appreciated

This is pretty sure a fault by youreself !
Check your Config !

A Flickering 7Seg Display ( and also a permanent fast blinking LED on the Mega) is a indice that TWO Configs controll the same Display/Diggit at the same time !

If this is a mistake.... Simply delete the Config that is not needed. If this is a System you like to use ( for example a double config to blank the Display) then check the preconditions.
If Config 1 show the Course..... And Config 2 same time show a Zero then it´s logical that the Display swap between this 2 things in every loop.... So 10-20 Times per second.... And thats looks like flickering !

I am pretty sure that there is only one config running.
But it is possible that it is a fault on the MAX board, but I have the IAS display on the sane board and here it is no flickering. It is only on the course display..
I have been a through all the configs and connectors and can't find any doubles
I said earlier that it was only the first number, but it is all 3 on course that flicker but as you explain it it is very similar to that.

Switch right course to left , left to right . If left digits still flicker , it hardware . If right digits flicker , it config setup .

Then check the "used diggits" !

If you get sure you sue only ONE Config for each Output ( and no precondition logics) then mostly there is a issue in the checkmarks of the Diggits.

For example your Flickering Display use Digit 1,2,3 and the non Flickering should normaly use 5,6,7,8 ...... But by mistake you use there 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

Than it can happen that THIS config NOT flickering ( Cause only this config use 5,6,7,8 )
BUT
The other flicker cause the diggits 1,2,3 are controlled again by TWO Configs ! one time by the Correct Original config.... And a second time by the other that use that digits 1,2,3 by fault.


I´m sure 99% there MUST be a config issue !

When I made the speed window inactive the TX flickering disappeared.
I am following Stephan's guide for MCP.
Do I have to program the mach part as well to get it to function or will it function for the speed (kts) like normal and go blank later on.
Can you also translate for me the meaning (Prerequisite: you must first create the flw entry: Apply only if Mach Configeintrag greater than 1000)
With Prerequisite is that the same as *1000 in the Transform field or in the compare page.
Also Multi 1000 is that the same

Ohhh... Looks like you found my old guide.

Please apollogy. that was build in early days when i startup cockpitbuilding myself and work only some weeks with mobiflight . ( Long time before i startup to do the support work here)

This guide is a bit confusing.... cause there exist no transform ( was called multiply there) and there was no placeholders.

In easy words..... The Speed Display also today is build with TWO Configs and Preconditions.... Cause Speed IAS need a 3 Number Value and Speed MACH need a decimal Value like ".75" ..... So here there is a precondition in both configs to define if speed is currently in MACH or IAS mode and the needed config is working then. There is no other way to create the decimal point in a profitable way.

I not remember at the moment the full config logic. If you get stuck.... Call me. Then i will help you. Discord prefered !

I think I am unable at di9scord, but that is due to my voice.
I have had several operation on my voice cords, so it is a little bit tricky to understand me.
So if you are able to find anything I can use for it is certain that there will be difficulties and I'll be lost.

Thats no Problem..... The most important thing in Discord is mostly to SEE the screen from the user. So You not need to tell me 20 Minutes what you do.... And you not need to make lots of screenshots.
You share the screen..... and you hear me when i say e.g. "please click on that filed".... "Please open that window and so on"
Its not needed to "talk" to me. If you prefer writing simply type the awnsers. For me it´s just more comfortable to speak to you as also must write all stuff on the keyboard.

Sounds funny..... But in most "support work seassons" i talk 95% of the time and the user just hear to me.
