Hi
Welcome to Mobiflight !

BASIC Information:
1. The number of Placeholder is 7 ( not 6) cause you can use the own value ($) also.... So the LCD Config can read a value and use also the 6 Variables.

2. There exist some tricky workflows to "combine" Values. For example you can make a config that write Nav1 and Nav1Stby to ONE longer Variable.
This is helpfull in some rare cases..... But in your situation also the space on Display is the problem.... Cause 10 Values will not fit on a 20x4 Display pretty sure.

3. Think about the profit.... In a aircraft we need all important informations all time on the same Spot. So it´s not logical to have NAV and XPDR on one Display in two modes.... You should be able to see both at the same time on there "own" Displays. So maybe think about a build with TWO Displays !

*********************

Whatever.... If you like to build your system ike explaned, there is a simple way to do this !

You need TWO Configs for that Display. And a Precondition each that it should only work if a "indication config" is e.g. "1" and the other should work if that config is "0"

Step 1: Input Config for your Push Button ..... Offset is a FREE Offset . e.g. 66C0 1 BYte INT . Value is: if($=1,0,1)
Means if you press the button it "toggle" the Offset. If it´s 1 it will set to 0 .... If it´s 0 it will set to 1.

Step 2: A Output Config that READ exactly that Offset ..... Name it e.g. "Display Toggle" . You need no device there. Just read 66C0 1 Byte INT.

Step 3: Build TWO Configs for the LCD ..... The First use your 6 Variables..... The Second use the other 4 Variabes.
Now use in first config the Precondition Tab and say there Only work IF Config "Display Toggle" is 0 ...... In the Second LCD Config you use same condition but value 1 !

Summary: At systemstart the Value of Custom Offset is 0 .... So the first LCD Config work. If you press your button the value of Offset change to 1 ..... Now the First LCD Config get disabled and the second will work. Another Buttonpress set Offset back to Zero..... So then the first config get work again and the second is disabled.
Good Luck !
