I'm working on a project for a MobiFlight Evaluation Board that is tailored for Flight Simmers. It has all of the hardware that MobiFlight supports, plus legends for each pin assignment for each device. This will eliminate the messy jumper wires and trying to remember which pin goes to what device, allowing the user to focus on getting the devices working with the flight simulator and not worrying about whether the hardware is connected correctly or not. I tried to post a picture of the layout with this message. Hopefully it comes through. Would anyone be interested in this board? I found a board house in China that can fabricate the PC board very cheaply. - Steve Dobler

Hi

Nice Idea.
I build a testing Box ( for my Work here in Forum) myself in the past. Without PCB in my case but with the same logic.... So it include all possible Elements to make Testings for all possible Situations.

About PCB: For the user more comfortable ! Whatever i also enjoy the building ( with wires) that time. Those projects also can be seen as the first lession in wire, solder and buildings. If a User buy those things premade ( or just solder parts on a PCB ) he not "learn" to make a wire manegment.
BUT... I agree. This Board is verry usefull if you like just testings.... If you like to learn how building work a fully wired selfbuild is more profitable !

Just a little question.... What does the part upper right mean..... Additional LED ?? ( There are already LED 42-46 on the lower left) And also what means the Switch Input ( combined to the Pins of the Momentarys lower left) ??

I would NOT combine Pins finaly.... If i would build this board myself i would reduce number of used Pins.... E.g. remove 1-2 LED or short down the 7Seg Part to 2 Displays and only 2 Encoders .... Or Use for the rotary Switches lower right just 3/5 Positions to save Pins. Then you can support "own" pins for that "switch Input" section on top.

AT LAST: I miss ON-ON Switches .... And ON-ON-ON 3Way switches. Maybe also usefull to include.
E.g. in "Toggle siwtches ON-OFF-ON " you can use one so and the other as On-ON-ON.
Good Luck !
