Hi,

first, thank you for MobiFlight!
I am using the latest MobiFlight with MSFS and the lastest FSUIPC 7.
As soon as I start FSUIPC Mobiflight crashes. When trying to restart it, it says it is already running, which is confirmed by the task manager, but it disappeared and is not functioning.

Ending task and then restarting it results in the 'update window' appearing, then the progress bar in the main window loading about 1/3 of the way, then a crash again.
This is a brand new system build, everything works normal.

Any help would be appreciated.

What happen if you start FSUIPC simply prior mobiflight ?

And please confirm your Version
Does "latest" mean Live version 7.10 OR do you still use BETA Branches from MF ?

Hello,
I am experiencing similar issues using Windows 10 and the LIVE version of 7.10. Mobiflight seems to crash more often when I am editing modules or flashing firmware to the board, but this isn't consistent enough to confirm. After a crash, I am met with "MainForm() : Logger initialized Debug" for about 2 minutes, then it will unsuccessfully attempt to connect to my board before becoming non-responsive for a period of around 5-10 minutes. The only way to get passed the crash is to restart my computer. If I wait for the 10 minutes, every menu screen and click takes about 2 minutes to open.

So far, I have tried deleting Mobiflight and redownloading, reflashing my board, using different USB cables, starting FSUIPC before and after opening MobiFlight, and connecting the MEGA before and after opening the application with no consistent outcomes.

Any thoughts?

Bad to Hear.

Hopefully Sebastian got more information about that.

Just a Idea.... I don´t know if the newest BETA still handle this thematic.
Why not simply Enable the BETA Tool. Then download newest release and check/confirm if this problem is still solved there.

As i know Sebastian rework in the Beta still some detecting issues. Would be cool to know if your problem is also involved there.

will try the beta, I am using the official version for now. When I start FSUIPC and then Mobiflight the crashes are much less!
