Hello All,
After installing the 7.10.0.8 i can not update the firmware on my Arduino MEGA's.
It says unable to update the firmware and gives the following info on the log.
Anyone who can help me ?

Hi, i will try to help you with my experiences with Arduino and Mobiflight: i'm using MF beta 7.10.0.9.
Obviously you are using 7.10.0.8 and beta's could become unstable. Before this update your system works correctly ?
First of all it seems your Arduino board is disconected from USB Port; verify cables and port sleeping options in port properties.
Second I suggest You to install both Arduino IDE, Mobyflight and FSUIPC in a separate Partition and Directory (Folder) like
D:\ Arduino
\ FSUIPC
\ Mobyflight
Avoid to install this sw directly under C:\ or "special" Windows folders like: Programs, User Folders, Downloads etc.
Somtimes Windows 10 dont like using this folders.

With the second action I solved some compilation errors.

Just NOTE!!!
The Mobiflight BETA Tool is not build to download the newest release for everybody !!

Simple example: A User request for a rework to handle a other display driver like the Max7219. Sebastian is interested and for testing he just implement the new code and "overwrite" the existing Max7219 Code in the UI.... Then he release this Version as Beta e.g. 7.10.13 so THIS single user can download it and test it for him.
In this crazy example every other user who load this "newest beta" will get in big trouble cause his full cokcpit will no longer work cause that version no longer support his displays !

So in easy words..... BETA tool is NOT for casual usage ! I high recommend to only use it if you need something that is not already implement in the Live Version !
It can happen that Sebastian release 5 or more betas within one hour and non of them work and crash your computer. Cause he just test something new with me or Stephan !
Summary: ONLY load a Beta Version if you knwo what you do or when adviced by Sebastian. otherwise its fully on own risk !

I have started with the Live version and then upgraded it.
Always the same result with 2 MEGAs and 1 UNO

Please just for testing..... disconnect the UNO from your system and try again !
