Hello, my name is Sebastian, I'm from Argentina ... I have problems with mobieflight. not be connected with the simulator, the sim status is with the yellow triangle ...
I have downloaded and installed it as the tutorials say. Use 2 different simulators to test it: FSX (from the STEAM platform), and FS2004.
and in both cases I was unable to connect to the simulator .... I even tried to perform all the steps from another PC, and the result was the same.
I wanted to ask if it is possible that there is some configuration problem that I must configure from MF? ...
I've already installed and uninstalled it a few times but the result is still the same.
I have been able to get the "sim status" to be put on the green check mark by modifying in "EXTRAS / SETTINGS" the option "offline mode" in the "enabled" mode (which I don't know if it will be correct) - but not anyway get a MAX 7219 (8 digit) display to sync with the NAV 1 radio, as shown in the following tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyDJaQN2DXE&t=499s
I will keep watching tutorials and videos, maybe I will find the solution.
PS: I apologize if my English is not correct, since I do not have a correct handling ... thanks

Hi Sebastian,

welcome to MobiFlight!

FSUIPC must be installed so that MobiFlight can connect to the simulator. Which version do you have installed?

Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Hi Sebastian,

especially if you are new to a matter, it would make sense to read into this matter. After the 10th thread in the forum at the latest, you would have stumbled across FSUIPC and should have asked yourself if you needed it.
Even when you start MobiFlight and go through the menus, the term FSUIPC keeps coming up. You should have been puzzled there too. The tutorials are also informative in this regard.

Now I don't want to totally scare you off. FSUIPC is the link between MobiFlight and the flight simulator. Basically, the freeware version is enough for you, only when you get started more intensely do you need a key that you have to buy in order to be able to use all the functions of FSUIPC.
You can download the FSUIPC version required for your simulator via the following link: http://www.fsuipc.com

I wish you a lot of fun and success with MobiFlight and if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask them here. Since you are a registered MobiFlight user, you can also use the Discord link that will take you to Discord. Here information can be exchanged and questions answered.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Hi Sebastian,
everything OK. If you have problems with English, it shouldn't be too serious. Copy the texts into the Google Translator and translate them into your native language. The translation may not always be satisfactory, but it can help you to understand the context. The better you have become in English, the easier it will be for you. I think you are still relatively young and in this respect time will change things. I am already looking forward to your contributions here in the forum.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)
