Hi team
I have just set up a second stepper using the 28BYJ-48 stepper and ULN2003 driver board in my C172 panel (FSX) but am having trouble
When I 1st installed it it tested OK. I save my config and shut down
Next time I load up Mobieflight and run it the Stepper spins continuously and the only way to stop it is to disconnect the power
When I reconnect the power the motor still spins
I have tried eprom to clear the sketch on my Mega board and deleting the Device altogether but the same result.
I have connected my a Whiskey Compass ( which works on another stepper and board with no problems) to the new 28BYJ-48 stepper and ULN2003 driver board and it works fine.
Checked the pin configurations of the new setup all appears to be OK
This is a slimier problem to this link https://www.mobiflight.com/forum/message/19434.html
I changed to an external power supply but still the same result
I also tryed using and older version of Mobieflight but there is no difference
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated
Ian

Hi herbiem,

into MF go to the menu -> EXTRAS -> SETTINGS -> MOBIFLIGHT MODULES and select the module, the stepper is on.
In the list select your stepper. Here you see the settings. Below Pin Settings Motor you find the section

Auto Zero Input.

If you don't have an auto zero input contact defined (like a sensor o.t.e) then set the hook in front of NONE.
Save this settings to your mfmc-file and upload the changes to your mega.

Now you can leave the settings and reset the mega once and restart MF.
Go to the steper config and in the wizard and you can set the zero point manually. That's it.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)
