Dear Mobiflight Team,
I'm in progress in building a mobi-cockpit and now i will test vJoy functions.

First of all i will test vJoy with Parking Brakes switch.
I created a new item assigned at the parking brake switch and in the input tab i choose "vJoy Virtial Joystick", selected the virtual Joystick and the button (2) assigned at "Parking Brakes" on/off function in FS2020 VJoy settings.

After run Mobiflight and operate the switch the brakes switch is moving continously without capability to stop it.
FSUIPS consolle show me the continously "PARKING_BRAKES" event.

As you can see in the image at link:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/19lgeaH9cz_a84SvO5dtKy1BtcY2s9AFL/view?usp=drivesdk

in the "input" field of "input config wizard" i assigned "on" at Button and the field "Value" is greyed and not accesible.

Sure i'm missing something about Mobiflight and Vjoy cooperation

Could You help me ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Looks like a repeater Input. I not own FS2020 already.... So i can not test myself.... You need to do the testing !

Your Config in Mobiflight say.... If you Press this Button ( Or move switch to ON) then Mobiflight execute a PRESS of that virtual VJOY Joystickbutton.
Note it NOT release it again.... It hold it !

In the Sim you set to that function that VJoy Button and pretty sure you mark it as "Repeat TRUE" So aslong the Button is pressed the Sim will fire this command over and over again !

Solution:
1. Remove the Repeat Option in the Sim..... The parking brake not need to be repeated instead of other things like increase Altitude that we like maybe to do aslong we press a button.

2. Think about a Command in Mobiflight that Release the Virtual Button ! So a Config with "OFF" Option for the same Button.
For example a Latching ON/OFF Switch would use On press "Vjoy Button 2 ON" and on release "VjoyButton2 OFF" .
Without a release command you can use this input just one time.... cause tha button will be hold all the time after the first usage !
Good Luck !

Hi Pizman and thanks for attention and suggestions.

Obviously I created this input only to test vjoy functions: i have just configured the input for brakes with offset.

Ok, tomorrow i will try your suggestion "latching ON/OFF switch" and i will inform the forum.

For information: if i'm able to use vJoy i will use the virtual joystick in order to use the functions for FS2020 where no offsets or event id's are avaiable at the moment like autopilot v/s button.

Thanks again und Guten Abend

Hi, I have a latched VR on/off switch that I have connected via MobiFlight and vJoy.

The trouble is, MSFS only has a toggle to turn VR on, or off again. At the moment I have to turn the switch ON to turn VR ON, then I have to turn the switch off and back on again to trigger the second toggle to turn the VR off.

Is there a way to have my latching switch (via MF and vJoy) send a toggle button press command when turned to the on position (but then release the virtual button press), so that when I turn the switch off again it retriggers the same toggle button press command to turn my VR off again?

Thanks :).
