Hey all, hopefully this is the right place to put this.
I'm trying to get the "Action Type" "Key" to work with MS2020.
I have my Arduino hooked up, and I've verified that when I push a momentary switch it outputs the proper key command by opening up Notepad.
But it seems none of these keys are being recognized by MS2020.
I doubt this is an issue with mobiflight itself but I was wondering if anyone has had this issue.
I know MS2020 community addons are still very very early, I'm just trying to get my custom autopilot to work.

Hi
I avoid FS2020 until the first important AddOns run stable..... So i can not test for you and support only "from outside"
Maybe a other User or Sebastian can check this directly.

Some Ideas to help:

1. Mobiflight send Keys only to the "active" Window. So at frist check if FS2020 runs Fullscreen or Window Mode and confirm that window is open.

2. Keysend was sometimes problematic if we mix Admin Modes..... Please Test.... MF and FS BOTH in Admin mode and/or MF and FS BOTH in Non Admin Mode!
I not recommend to use different modes at any time !

3. Do you send Keys to FS2020 OR to FSUIPC ? In case FSUIPC is no longer a DLL and now a self running Programm "maybe" with this logic the FSUIPC Window must be active to "see" the key presses. Sure this is normaly only important if you use FSUIPC Keybinds instead.

Hopefully one is the key..... If not we must figure out by help of a FS2020 User !
Good Luck !

I've tried FS2020 in both Windowed and Fullscreen mode.

I've tried to run both in admin mode, and both without, as well as trying fullscreen and windowed mode in both modes.

I'm sending the key command directly to FS2020. Is there a way to send an "event Id" which triggers a keypress to FSUIPC7?

Thats Bad.

Sebastian need to check this!

About EventID.
Normaly Yes. I would say the same like in P3D. But i don“t know if this is already implement in FSUIPC7..... always remeber this is just a early Beta.
Good Luck !

Thanks, just to be clear.... the key press is working in other applications like Notepad. I push the switch connected to my Arduino and I can see the keys being inputted into notepad, it just doesn't seem to work in FS2020.
