Hello,
I would like to ask if Mobiflight is compatible with the a320 by FSlabs? Or with some other pay / freeware such as FlightFactor, Aerosoft ...
And if not, is there any combination of hardware and software that is compatible with FSlabs or others?

Thanks all for reading!

Hi
Your Question is adressed wrong ..... or better you ask the wrong fact.

Mobiflight is currently based on FSUIPC.
Means it can handle all AddOn Aircrafts that are compatible with FSUIPC !

Your question must be " Is FSL supporting Data to FSUIPC ?" I don´t know. Hopefully a other user can awnser this OR you must ask that question in the FSL Forums.

*****************
Basic system to use a AddOn with Mobiflight :

Perfect way is a AddOn that based 100% on FSUIPC ( Like Project Magenta.... But thats verry expensive)

Also good is a AddOn that have a FSUIPC implimentation ..... Like PMDG that support ~~98% of Systems to FSUIPC
Here for Airbus the Freeware "Jeehell FMGS" is a verry good choice

The "middle" solution is a Addon that basicly talk to FSUIPC but have not directly Offsets ( e.g. Lvars) Here you need a script that "translate" all data to FSUIPC. Difficult but finaly possible to handle.... For example "Aerosoft Airbus" work so.

Whorst Case is a AddOn that NOT work with FSUIPC in any way.
Good Luck !

Hi,
Thank you for the explanation.
So if I understand correctly. Project Magenta has its plane as an addon to FSX or prepar3d. This model of aircraft is compatible with FSUIPC and therefore also with mobiFlight. Is it right?
Furthermore, I do not understand exactly what Jeehell FMGS is. Does he also have a model airplane? Or is it just software for HW and SW compatibility?

Thanks for the anwers.

I don´t know what HW and SW mean.

Basicly Jeehell have no Outside Aircraft or Virtual Cockpit..... In theory you can use the "aircraft model" of any plane.... So your Cockpit looks like a A320 but on screen you see a Cessna that fly with 470kn through the world :-)
But sure.... Most user will take the Easy included Jeehell Aircraft model or simply a other A320 model from FSX, Freeware or a AddOn..... Then you have a realistic Outside view like with FSL

BUT This is not important. Tell me a professional Sim Pilot with a full homecockpit, who ever will use the outside view of his aircraft ? Go into a 500$/hr FullSim and ask to see the Aircraft from outside.... they will tell you this is not possible cause never needed. Also a Real pilot will not see his Aircraft if he stay in the cockpit !

About Magenta..... This was build for FS9 /FSX and is also useable for P3D (as i know) . As i said here we talk about 1000-1500 $ or more.
At the moment i would NOT think about that. FS2020 comes. This will change everything.

I would simply wait for 6-12 Months and check what happen. If you like to beginn now i would use P3D in a low price Version ( Monthly or Academic) and a Cheap AddOn or freeware like FMGS ..... Startup to gain experience in building and using Mobiflight.
BUT.... I recommend to not spent Money for a AddOn NOW whithout knowing if you like to Stay in P3D.
Good Luck !

Hi,
HW and SW I meant hardware and software. Of course, I'll wait for what FS 2020 will bring. I'm just considering all the options.
I'm sorry, but I'm probably starting to get lost :D
My problem is that I want my home cockpit to have as many functions as possible (most active buttons in the cockpit). Some buttons in the basic game just don't have a function and can't be used. I have knowledge of Arduino, so I would like to make my cockpit with Arduino. I was wondering if any addon of the a320 aircraft (fslabs, FlightFactor, Aerosoft, etc.), which has more active functions in the cockpit than in the original game and is also compatible with FSUIPC and Mobiflight.

Thanks for the anwers.

I understand..... We all got this "lost in the air" point at beginning.

At first..... Knowledge with Arduino is good but not needed. You will not make arduino sketches or so...... All the code on the Arduino and PC side is done by Mobiflight.
BUT.... Its verry usefull if you basicly understand programming systems..... Cause also the transform line in Mobiflight use a verry simple syntax. If you be able to understand "C++" or LUA then you also understand Mobiflight.

About Aircraft.
The FSX/P3D Standard Aircraft are verry poor. The A320 can not be used for real flying.
Here AddOns are/was needed..... BUT in FS2020 also the Standard Aircraft include a "easy" FMS and much more Systems ! So the step between the free trash Aircrafts and the expensive High End AddOns is getting smaller. But sure.... For a high professional Homecockpit you will again need a AddOn pretty sure. So wait what puplisher release a new version for FS2020
For Boeing we still know PMDG will release the Main stuff ( 737, 747 , 777) within the next year as i know !
For Airbus i have no information till now.

Important to note.... It looks like every AddOn Aircraft ( Also the expensive 1000$+ Systems) will plan for selling the FS2020 as a ownstanding Full Price System.
So it make no sense to buy something for P3D if you plan to swap to FS2020 in the future.... Cause you will need to pay full price again for FS2020 just to get 1:1 the same software again !

To avoid you from loosing money..... Please think at first.... What you like to build ( a fun cockpit or a 100% full Sim)
and much more important if you like to use the New FS2020 or not.
Good Luck !

Hi,
Of course, I'll wait for what the new FS2020 has to offer. Just building the frames and the skeleton of the cockpit will take me some of that time, so I have nowhere to hurry :D
